Ready to Raise Collective is led by Amber Hamilton of Fig Leaf Development and Ewurama Ewusi-Mensah of Amplify. We bring a combined 25 years of development experience and a shared commitment to helping fundraising leaders thrive.
About Amber
Amber Hamilton is a senior leader with over fifteen years of experience leading development, strategy, and communications at education and equity-focused organizations. She leads Fig Leaf Development, a trusted firm that partners with senior leaders, social impact organizations, and the foundations that support them, to build their capacity to fundraise effectively.
Prior to launching Fig Leaf, Amber served as the founding Chief External Officer at Beyond100K where she raised $5M annually and led the organization’s rebrand and public launch at the Clinton Global Initiative Summit. Before that she was the founding head of development for regions at OneGoal, supporting six senior leaders to reach their combined development goals of $13M.
Amber holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from The George Washington University. She is a member of the board of the Los Angeles Education Partnership and the Archer Alumni Board.
About Ewurama
Ewurama Ewusi-Mensah, is a coach and consultant with a knack for helping individuals and teams to think creatively and apply strategic insight. Ewurama founded Amplify to help nonprofits tell their stories and strengthen their fundraising systems—so they can build the support they need to drive impact.
With over a decade of experience in nonprofit fundraising, Ewurama has a deep understanding of the challenges facing nonprofit organizations. She has a passion for working with organizations pursuing a more just and equitable future and helping historically marginalized communities to flourish. And she believes every nonprofit should have the foundation it needs to focus on what really matters: achieving its mission.
Ewurama holds a bachelor’s degree in History & Science from Harvard University, lives in Los Angeles, and loves to laugh!
